SOCIAL STRATEGIST & COMMUNITY MANAGER
Position: Freelance
Location: Remote

We at MOODEAUX® are excited to invite applications for a Freelance Social Strategist & Community Manager to build alongside our team starting this September. This dynamic position as an independent contractor offers an ongoing monthly retainer fee. Occasional travel may be necessary on a per-project basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy (30%)
- Our ideal candidate is confident both in front of and behind the camera, and is passionate about creating content that drives sales, boosts brand awareness, and connects with our growing community of MOODIES across primarily Instagram and TikTok (both non-paid and paid media/ads).
- Own the content creation process from ideation to production, ensuring a cohesive strategy across channels; we’re looking for daily posts/week across primarily Instagram and TikTok (both non-paid and paid media/ads).
Industry Research & Reporting (20%)
- Stay informed on industry trends and our competition, providing strategic insights on how to strengthen our brand’s position in the marketplace.
- Prepare weekly and month-end reports that analyze and summarize data, measuring the success of social media posts and ad campaigns.
Social Media Management (30%)
- Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge the effectiveness of posts and campaigns.
- Research social media trends, hashtags, and tactics relevant to our target audience.
- Manage and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar for key channels, creating, planning, and scheduling posts in advance.
- Engage with accounts, respond to consumer comments, and forward detailed inquiries to the appropriate MOODEAUX® team member.
Collaboration & Engagement (20%)
- Coordinate with social media influencers, bloggers, and content creators to promote brand awareness and create buzz around product launches.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of experience as a social media strategist, either freelance or with an agency practicing client management.
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (Ads Manager).
- Strong understanding of SEO, excellent analytical skills, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative self-starter who is passionate about leveraging their talents and showcasing their skills while maintaining a can-do attitude and an openness to feedback.

CREATIVE MARKETING INTERN

We at MOODEAUX® are seeking a talented and driven Creative Marketing Intern to join our small, but mighty team for the Fall 2024 semester. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a current student who is passionate about marketing, design, and creative content development. The selected candidate will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, develop a strong portfolio, and make a real impact on our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop on-brand, unique, and engaging creative assets and marketing collateral for various channels including web, email, social media, and events.
- Own the content creation process from ideation to production.
- Assist in maintaining consistency and quality across all marketing materials.
- Conduct industry and competitor research to provide insights and recommendations for strengthening our brand's market position.
- Prepare reports that analyze and summarize data to support marketing strategies.
- Participate in a weekly status meeting, submit monthly progress reports, and engage in a performance evaluation to receive constructive feedback for professional growth.
- Occasionally travel for project-related activities, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Reside in or near the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area, preferred. Remote applications accepted.
- Passionate about creative marketing with a strong desire to learn and develop professional skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a team setting.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiar with digital marketing tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
