As the old adage goes…so much can happen and change in a year.
And for us at MOODEAUX, nothing summarizes these past twelve months more. In a good, scratch that, GREAT way! Despite another deeply personal loss with the passing of my grandmother Mrs. Minnie Lee Brown — a.k.a. the woman who always encouraged my curiosity as a little girl, even when it came at the expense of me "borrowing" all her expensive perfumes — as an indie label, we’ve pushed through and have experienced several gains.
Joining Arch Grants, pitching celebrity judges on national TV, winning 4x beauty awards, TODAY Show and Good Morning America features, debuting PunkStar, partnering with PopSugar and BET, being recognized by Glossier, launching on Scentbird...
All thanks to our fiercely loyal community of MOODIES/MOODheaux(s), including you reading right now! Nothing feels better or more rewarding than to know what started out as just a dream has materialized into something that’s earned a special place on y’all’s shelves and in y’all’s hearts. It’s an honor neither myself nor my small (but mighty) team that works tirelessly to keep MOODEAUX rockin’ and rollin’ will ever take for granted.
