Q: Who's MOODEAUX for?

 

MOODEAUX® is non-gendered — anyone on the lookout for clean luxury fragrances with skin-care benefits is invited to explore our world. Please note: If you're sensitive to some ingredients (for example, essential oils or carrier oils), we recommend doing a patch test first to check how you'll react.

 

Q: Are you clean/cruelty-free?

 

Yes, and yes! In our book, clean, cruelty-free beauty accounts for luxury products like those we've designed that are tested on humans, not animals and adhere to the highest industry standards — especially safety. We're open and transparent about what we use in each formula from the jump (plus, what we don't use: alcohol, endocrine-disruptive chemicals, dyes or water), because you deserve to know.

 

Q: Views on sustainability?

 

Let's be real...the world doesn't "need" another designer fragrance label. But after growing frustrated with the status quo (read: predominately white, Eurocentric-focused brands lacking diversity, innovation and the urgency to go green), we set out to Make Beauty Better by simply Making Better Beauty.™ Anything stamped MOODEAUX® is truly inclusive, original and thoughtfully crafted. From our imagery to our clean, water-free, botanical-powered formulas to our waste-less, *recyclable, reusable and/or biodegradable packaging, we're intentional about rewriting outdated narratives all while helping protect Mother Earth.

Q: What's a SuperCharged SkinScent???

 

Packed with a punch (30% fragrance oil!) and natural, fortifying ingredients that help lock in moisture, our SuperCharged SkinScentformula combines perfumery with body care for a unique sensory experience designed to Flaunt How You Feel.™

 

Please note: We use absolutes, botanical derivatives and safe synthetics (to replace animal scents like musk and common irritants). 

  

Q: What's the big difference?

 

Our SuperCharged SkinScent™ formula contains a concentration of over 30% fragrance oil, which is comparable to most "extrait de parfum" or pure perfumes. These products boast the highest fragrance concentration, and of all scents, they last the longest around six (6) to eight (8) hours dependent on how you apply them as well as your natural body chemistry.¹

   

Q: How do I wear it?

 

Given our SuperCharged SkinScent formula contains oil, which can stain most fabrics, use caution and avoid contact with clothing. Instead, apply on bare, dampened skin and gently dab until the product is fully absorbed. It only takes a few extra seconds!

 

Q: Where should I store it?

 

You should keep the product in a dark, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use within twelve (12) months when your SuperCharged SkinScent™ smells its best.

 

Q: Does it leave me shiny/oily?

 

Nope! The product is lightweight, setting within just a few seconds of being spritzed and gently dabbed on bare, dampened skin. Please note: If you're sensitive to some ingredients (for example, essential oils or carrier oils), we recommend doing a patch test first to check how you'll react.

 

Q: What does WORTHY smell like?

 

"Worthy is just so badass. It took a lot of trial-and-error to make...we basically kept going until I felt it captured the right mood," our founder, Brianna "B.A." Arps explains. "Why? Because everyone deserves something different. A sophisticated signature scent that reminds us how powerful we truly are."

PRE-ORDER INFO

 

Q: What's your pre-order policy?

 

MOODEAUX® will begin accepting pre-orders for our debut product collection on October 1, 2021. Given the unique circumstances, kindly note we don't offer cancellations, returns or online store credit/exchanges on pre-orders.

 

Q: What's a pre-order? 

 

A pre-order is a purchase for an exclusive item that isn't in stock yet.

 

Q: Why should I pre-order? 

 

Purchasing a pre-order item helps us adhere to our Sustainability Pledge by producing exactly the right amount of stock desired while also helping to avoid sell outs. 

 

Q: How does a pre-order work?

 

To secure your item, full payment is due at checkout. Once produced, we will package your pre-order item(s) and hand it/them off to our parcel carriers with your selected shipping method within three (3)-five (5) business days. The exact delivery date of your pre-order item(s) is unknown; however a target shipment date range has been specified on all pre-order product pages. 

 

Q: How do I know if an item is a pre-order? 

 

Pre-order items are marked with a “pre-order” button on applicable product pages, during checkout and through order summaries alongside with their target shipment date range. 

 

Q: What about changes in delivery date? 

 

Because pre-order items haven’t reached our distribution facility quite yet, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the exact date they will ship. Each pre-order item has a target shipment date range; yet this is subject to change without prior notice. If for any reason outside of our control we are unable to process and fulfill your pre-order, we will refund you for the full amount spent ASAP. Likewise, we will happily honor refunds if there has been an extraordinary delay in shipping, spanning greater than forty-five (45) days from the target shipment date range.

Q: How can I pay for my order?

 

We accept all major credit and debit cards including: American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. We also take payments through PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

 

Q: When will I be charged?

 

You'll be charged automatically upon placing an order with us.

 

Q: Can I update or remove a saved payment method?

 

Yes, of course! If you need to make changes, head into your MOODEAUX® VIP Account and adjust accordingly.

 

Q: My payment was declined, what should I do?

 

Make sure that all required payment information was entered correctly and that your credit or debit card hasn't expired. If you're still having trouble, let us know at care@moodeaux.com.

 

SHIPPING AND RETURNS INFO

 

Q: What is Route Package Protection?

 

In short, it's peace of mind for shopping online with MOODEAUX®. Here's how it works: At checkout, you have the option to purchase low-cost order insurance through a service called Route, which covers lost, stolen and damaged goods. If something happens, you can file a claim easily at the following web address: https://claims.route.com/

 

Q: Where does MOODEAUX ship?

 

We're equipped to ship within the United States (U.S.) — including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, given our fragranced body-care applications are made without alcohol. Woot woot! We look forward to expanding soon, but until then, your understanding means a lot to us.

 

Q: Can I modify or cancel my order? 

 

If you'd like to make changes or cancel your order all together, please contact us ASAP at care@moodeaux.com with your full name, the email address used at checkout and your order number. We'll do our very best to accommodate you, but after one (1) hour, orders can't be modified or cancelled.

 

Q: When will my order ship?

 

All orders, excluding pre-orders, are processed and shipped Monday-Friday from our distribution facility based in Atlanta, GA within three (3)-five (5) business days. Once shipped, continental domestic orders may take up to seven (7) business days to arrive, dependent on location and the selected shipping method chosen at checkout. Military addresses can take up to ten (10) business days.

 

Q: How can I check the status of my order, including tracking?

 

There's a few different ways! You'll receive an order confirmation email when you shop with us that comes attached with a tracking number. Please allow up to forty-eight (48) hours for tracking to go live and note that tracking for Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico addresses may take a bit longer.

 

You can also check the status of your order through your MOODEAUX® VIP Account (if you signed up for one). Lastly, you can always track your order by downloading the Route app, which hosts our third-party Package Protection services. If you have any other questions about shipping or tracking your order, get in touch with us at care@moodeaux.com.

 

Q: What do I do if something's wrong with my order?

 

Uh-oh! Contact care@moodeaux.com ASAP with your full name, the email address used at checkout and your order number — we're here to make things right.

 

Q: What is your exchange/return policy?

 

All MOODEAUX® products are created and sent out into the world with lots of care. While it's our sincere hope you love them as much as us, we understand things happen and minds change. Unless otherwise noted (as with all pre-order items/during COVID-19), if you'd like to make an exchange for store credit or process a return, you have fifteen (15) days from receipt to request either one at care@moodeaux.com.

 

Q: How do I start the exchange/return process?

Q: Where's my refund? 

 

Refunds are processed via your original payment method within five (5) business days, at which time you'll be notified by email. Please contact your financial institution to confirm when funds will be issued back to your account/credit/debit card.

 

Q: I reached out to the Client Care team, when will I hear back?

 

If you left a voicemail or sent us a note at care@moodeaux.com, rest assured we've received your inquiry and will respond within twenty-four (24) hours — unless it's a weekend! Currently, the MOODEAUX® Client Care team operates Monday-Friday between 9AM-5PM EST.
